Nike SNKRS

Launch

Also called Nike Launch, launches, launch page

Launch is Nike's word for a SNKRS release. Launches run as Draws: LEO takes entries for about two minutes without a timer, while DAN uses a published timer. In Laced, a launch is also the entry you prepare for a release.

In use: Three launches on Saturday, each with its own release time and draw window. Prepare a launch in Laced for each pair you want.

Nike’s word for a release

A Launch is one SNKRS release: a product and the time its draw goes live. Nike uses the word on its launch pages and inside the app. Both kinds are Draws: LEO takes entries for about two minutes with no timer, while DAN runs on a published timer, usually ten minutes.

“Launch day” can sound like a race because ordinary retail often works that way. On SNKRS, Nike selects at random once the entry window ends. Read the release time, choose a size and be ready for the window; a faster entry gets no priority.

The second meaning

Inside the Laced app the same word is reused for something narrower. You pick a release and a size from the calendar and tap Create, and the app makes a Launch. It sits on the Launch page, ready to be started ten to fifteen minutes before the drop. So a Launch in SNKRS is Nike’s release, and a Launch in Laced is your prepared entry for it.

Two meanings, one spelling. If an instruction mentions the Launch page or Start All, it is describing the app, not Nike.
